When I decided that 2022 and 2023 would be my years of travel, I gave 100% of my best to work harder in order to achieve that next dream travel destination. I still have to pinch myself occasionally because I couldn't believe I got to visit South Korea with my husband.

The challenging part of this trip, I guess, was acquiring the visa. Being a PH passport holder, we are required to have a visa before we can enter the country. Although I know there are already tours that would let you go to certain parts of South Korea visa-free. However, as we wanted to experience everything without limitations and have control over what we wanted to do when we got there, so we decided to try our luck and apply for that visa. Thankfully, we were granted!

For as long as I can remember (when Jewel in the Palace K-drama first came out and my dad purchased an original Blu-ray CD), I decided that I would visit South Korea one day! Well, it was a birthday wish come true as I spent my birthday in South Korea during my favorite season (Autumn!). Proof below: NYAHAHA! I was on cloud nine!

Below are the places we visited during our 3-week stay in South Korea:

This was in Namsan, where the famous N Seoul Tower can be found.

This was when we waited for our bus. I just had to take a photo!

My own Oppah walking on one of the road sides of Deoksugung Stone-Wall Road.

Isn't this dreamy? Such beautiful colors in one picture.

As this was around mid-November, more leaves started to fall, a signthat winter was coming.

I just had to work here! So as always, with my laptop, we stayed here for a few hours to work.

Just like how we see it in a K-drama. This felt surreal.

Let's talk about their food. This was absolutely delicious! We could eat this every day.

Yes, I celebrated my birthday on Nami Island. Age is just a number. HIHI!

We also went to Busan. This was such a thrilling experience!! We were proud that we found our way to the correct platform and train.

Oh Busan.. your beaches are beautiful. Our beaches in the PH are undoubtedly better, but I must say that the cold weather in Busan made it perfect for us to stay there without sweating! Not humid at all.

Like a child, I almost refused to get off Busan's Sky Capsule; this particular ride allowed us to see the long and beautiful coastline of Haeundae beach.

This was truly iconic.

And this too...

The transportation cost was really affordable. We spent almost 2,000 PHP for our 3-week journey just by riding buses. We used their Naver app and the T-money card to reload for bus payments. We used Google maps to map out the areas near each other and then used the Naver app to check what bus we could ride. I swear it was easy! Even for us who are first-timers and all DIY. I have 400 more photos, but let's not upload them all. HAHA.

If you want to know more or have specific questions about transportation, places to visit in South Korea, or even the visa process, feel free to drop me a message or comment. I would be happy to answer them!
