City of Skyscrapers and Beautiful Sunsets

If there's one place I never imagined to be sooo beautiful, that would be Dubai. I didn't imagine it to be ugly; I just had no expectations. Like many others, I thought Dubai would be desert and heat. But boy, was I so wrong!

When we got the opportunity to travel to Dubai (thank you, baby sister!), I did so little research as I knew a family member had already taken care of the places we would visit. Not the organizer this time. Yay!

The best part of this trip was that we went during winter, so it was cold (like 16 degrees cold) when we were there. I was underdressed! Lol. I brought with me light and cool clothes that were perfect for summer. HAHA.

Isn't this gorgeous? It's not an actual plane, but they did make sure the size was the same as the big Emirates plane we were on, which is nothing short of amazing!

We had coffee at The View - Palm Jumeirah, where the sunset was divine, and the coffee made everything else better. We also went to the beach side of Dubai, where I imagined and contemplated living there during winter.

The desert sand and the sea of clouds are all in Dubai. They were spectacular!

Every day, I would look forward to the sunset. How can it be this beautiful? Are the locals so used to this view? I will probably never get tired of it.

I have so many photos from this trip, but I will end the post here. I know someday we will go back and explore more places.

Side note: This was our first international travel in 2023 (January) and we stayed there for a month.
